My First Paper Mario Game Over

Usually in Paper Mario I am in Chapter 4 but In the Blue Station on the Right Room there is an Anti Guy guarding a Treasure Chest. I went to him and talk to him and he gives you 2 Choices "Fight" or "Don't Fight",  I put Fight and fight him and he MADE ME GET A GAME OVER BY KILLING ME!
