UltraBoots PM

The Ultra Boots are the third and final upgrade for Mario's jumping ability, coming after the Super Boots. The ultra boots are red on the most part and yellow in the heel. Both are different depending on the game, but both give mario the ability to jump higher.

Paper Mario[]

How to obtain[]

You need to go to underground Toad Town. get past all of the enemies. the boots are in a room that has a spring on top of the block. jump to break the block causing the spring to automatically go into place. Jump on the spring to go over the wall and drop down on a place with a big chest. you will see a block with a spring  on top too high to reach. when you open the chest, you get the ultra boots. Use them to break the block. jump on the spring and escape the room.

Ability in the field[]

Press the A button once while in the air, press A again to do a Tornado Jump. You lose the ability to spin jump but you do better. What the ultra boots does is you spin in the air making you jump higher than you normally would making a better reach for reaching higher blocks.

Ability in battle[]

When you jump on an enemy, you do the tornado jump like on the field. The jump hit's the enemy 2 times and does 3 damage per hit(if doing the normal jump and did the action command correctly) making a total of 6 damage (Only you are doing the normal jump). The speed of landing on the enemy increases.

Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door[]

How to obtain[]

The Ultra Boots are found in the deepest room of Riverside Station.

Ability in field[]

The Ultra Boots grant you the Spring Jump ability, which allows you to reach high-up places, as well as grab on to pipes on the ceiling.

You perform it by pressing and holding (A) until Mario crouches, then you rotate the Control Stick until Mario is completely compressed. He'll look like an accordion-folded piece of paper at this point.

Ability in battle[]

The Ultra Boots increase the power of ALL jump attacks by 1 HP.

As well as upping the power of jump attacks, they add a new jump attack, called the Spring Jump. It costs 4 FP, and deals 6 HP of damage, at the very least. If you execute the Action Command correctly, it will deal an extra 5 HP of damage, for a total of 11 HP.
