The Great Sea is an overworld location from Paper Mario: The Origami King. It is a large ocean with islands scattered about.

Yellow Streamer Chapter[]
While searching for the Yellow Streamer, Olivia ends up becoming entrapped under a large boulder by Olly, and Bobby insists that the only thing that can save her is found on the Great Sea, more specifically, the Princess Peach. Most of the areas in the Great Sea are blocked off because of fog.
Purple Streamer Chapter[]
Mario returns to the Great Sea alongside Olivia and Captain T. Ode. They are now able to enter the fog by using T. Ode's sea chart for navigation, and clear the fog by completing the puzzle on Bonehead Island. In total, there are 11 different islands found on the Great Sea, as well as some smalls rocks with various characters on them.
