Swampires are the strongest sub-species of the Swooper in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Swampires are green and only found in the Pit of 100 Trials. They hang on ceilings and drop down when Mario is close, like other Swoopers. The biggest difference is their large amount of health and a powerful suck attack.
