The Spike Shield is a badge that when activated protects Mario from all enemies with spikes around them, such as Bristles and Spinys. Note that Spike Shield doesn't work on the spike-floored rooms in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It is found in a room full of spikes in Rogueport Sewers which requires Yoshi or Vivian. The description is incorrect because it does not make Mario invincible when jumping on spiky enemies, it just allows him to jump on them, as observable when attacking an electrified spiky enemy.
