Sacred Forest is a level in Paper Mario: Color Splash. It is a forest-themed area found in the Green Region of Prism Island. Three paths are unlocked from here: one to Mustard Cafe, Cobalt Base, and Green Energy Plant.
Level Synopsis[]
Near the entrance of the level is the Yellow Rescue Squad Captain, who is trying to pull a Turnip out of a pipe. This pipe leads to the rest of the level, so Mario must first gather the rest of the Yellow Rescue Squad members to assist in pulling the turnip out. The squad overpowers the Turnip AND the pipe, plucking both out of the ground. Fortunately, a new pipe grows in place of the old one and Mario can continue. The rest of the level has been modified by Kamek's magic. This becomes obvious after Mario and Huey encounter Small Goombas. The Small Goombas tear apart a Blue Mini Paint Star, and Mario is tasked with finding the pieces. The pieces are guarded by Small Goomba Wheels, Small Hammer Bros, a Small Cheep Cheep, Small Buzzy Beetles, and of course, more Small Goombas. After going through the waves of enemies and finding all the pieces, Mario can obtain the level's second star. The third Mini Paint Star is blocked off from Mario until he obtains the Magnifying Glass, as the pipe leading to the star has been shrunken down. Before Mario can obtain the star, Kamek intervenes, and prepares to fight Mario. Before fighting, he uses his magic to make Mario extremely tiny. After he is defeated, he rewards Mario with a 4th Card Slot and attempts to make him huge, but ends up only making him normal sized in his weakened state. Kamek disappears, and the level is completed.
