The Rescue Squad, also known as the Rescue Toads, are a group of heroic Toads that help people in peril. They primarily featured as supporting characters in Paper Mario: Color Splash. The five Rescue Squads also appeared in a promotional online video series used to describe the features of Color Splash called Rescue V: Fearless Color Defenders. They also make a small cameo within Paper Mario: The Origami King as practice enemies within the Battle Lab.

Paper Mario: Color Splash[]
During the events of Paper Mario: Color Splash, the five Rescue Squads (red, blue, purple, yellow and green) had their members scattered across Prism Island. Mario would be forced to locate and reunite them all and utilize their skills. The reunited squads helped Mario through several dilemmas.
