|Tattle||That's a Piranha Plant. In fact, I think this is the strongest type of them all. Max HP is 15, Attack is 9 and Defense is 0. Its Attack power is absurdly high... It may look like a normal Piranha Plant, but don't be fooled! It's super-tough! If we get beaten by a flower, we'll never hear the end of it, know what I mean?|
|Catch Card #||057|
Piranha Plants are a deadly carnivorous species of plants. They bite at Mario with their sharp teeth and have their mouth pointed up. If Mario tries to jump on them, they snap at him and smile smugly. The Piranha Plants in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door are three times as tough as their Paper Mario counterparts, but is unknown how their strength tripled. Known relatives are the Putrid Piranha and Frost Piranha, as well as the Pale Piranha. They can be found in rooms 81-89 in the Pit of 100 trials.
- Despite being the "Normal" versions of Piranha Plants, they are the strongest in The Thousand Year Door.
- When talking to Wonky, he will sometimes list Piranha Plants as the enemies most susceptible for falling asleep as an example of status effects.
