In order to ensure that this Wiki is not cluttered with unnecessary images, we have an Image Policy.
When adding images...
- ALWAYS make sure that the image you upload is not on the Wiki already, especially if it is worse in quality. The best way to check is to search the subject's name and all related pages. If you don't know and don't want to mess something up, feel free to ask an admin.
- If your image is meant to be a higher quality version of an existing picture, replace it. Do not upload a separate image.
- Make sure the file name contains the subject name in some form. Avoid uploading "hqdefault" or "maxresdefault" and rename the image before uploading.
- GIVE A SOURCE. If the image comes from a Wiki, add the Wikimedia category. If it came from something Nintendo-related or is a screenshot, list it as fair use.
- Though not required, you can try and sort your image into categories. They can be for whichever game it is in, what the image depicts, or whether it is artwork or a screenshot.
