The Mega Paper Macho Pokey is a boss in Paper Mario: The Origami King. It is a large Paper Macho that's shape like a Pokey. It is the second boss of Chapter 3, is the second Paper Macho boss and is overall the sixth boss of the game.
Overview[]
Shortly before Mario and Olivia had arrived at the Scorching Sandpaper Desert, the Mega Paper Macho Pokey was accidentally summoned by Professor Toad, and he was eaten. Later, when Mario and Olivia used the Sun Incense, the Mega Paper Macho Pokey was summoned again.
Attacks[]
The Mega Paper Macho Pokey's primary attack is moving along the sand and will perform a body slam on Mario on co., after losing one hit-point it will also roll to try and squish them, another attack that the Mega Paper Macho Pokey can perform is going underground and attempting to hit Mario with its spikes and will also summing tornadoes in attempt to damage Mario as well, after being reduce to two it will gain the ability to spin and attempt to suck in Mario and do contact damage, after being reduce to a head it will do a roll move like it can while having its original form, hop around to do contact damage and after a while jump real high and preform head dive bomb on Mario.
Strategy[]
In this battle, Mario has access to the boot car which the Player can use in the battle, to defeat the Mega Paper Macho Pokey, the Player has to first wait until the Mega Paper Macho Pokey stops its attack to then hit one of the many weak points on the Mega Paper Macho Pokey, they can either get out of the boot car and wack one of the many weak points on the Mega Macho Pokey's body with Mario's hammer or a much more easier way is to use the boot car's dash move, after every hit the Mega Paper Macho Pokey will bury under ground and attempt to hit Mario with either its spiked head or unleash tornadoes at Mario, after that the Player will have repeat it two more times until the Mega Paper Macho Pokey is reduce to a head, at which point the Player has to avoid the head dive and them jump out of the car and right on the mega Macho pokey's head as it sinks back down in order to hit the last weak point underneath the Mega Paper Macho Pokey's head in order to defeat it.

- The Mega Paper Macho Pokey is a stand off from the three Paper Macho bosses, seeing as it is the only Macho boss in Paper Mario: The Origami King to:
- Be fought in evens, while the Paper Macho Gooper Blooper and the Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle are fought in odds (the Paper Macho Gooper Blooper is the fifth boss, while the Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle is the thirteenth boss).
- Have a vehicle in battle.
- Not have any firepower-like abilities, the Paper Macho Gooper Blooper can launch off shock waves and shoot ink, while the Paper Mistake Buzzy Beetle can fire off energy pules or an energy blast.
- The Mega Paper Macho Pokey shares many similarities to the Tower Power Pokey from Paper Mario Sticker Star:
- Both bosses appear in a Paper Mario game that is in evens (Paper Mario: Sticker Star is the fourth game, while Paper Mario: The Origami King is the sixth game).
