Koopook is a Koopa who hails from Petalburg. He calls himself the "Wandering hide 'n' seek champion" as he loves traveling to places, hiding from others to find him. The only way to find him is to take on his request at the Trouble Center. His trouble will tell the player that he is hiding somewhere in Hooktail Castle. If the player manages to complete his request, he will reward the player a Special Card they can use at the Pianta Parlor to play the Plane mode game. After this, Koopook leaves and is never seen again.
Relationship with Koops[]
If Koops is present with Mario when they discover Koopook, they will have a special conversation about them used to being neighbors. It is said that when they were young, they always played hide 'n' seek and Koops was always the one being "it." Koops mentions that he manages to find everyone except him. From those days, Koopook mentions that he wanted to be a master Koopa at hide 'n' seek, so he traveled the world hiding from everyone.
Later in the game, Mario will receive an email from Koopook saying to Koops that he is hiding somewhere in a temple where he finds himself freezing even inside his shell.
Trivia[]
- Koopook's friendship with Koops is similar to that of Koover's to Kooper. Both being regular citizen Koopas that are close to the ally that adventures with Mario. Both even send a message to the two playable Koopas some time in the game respectively.
- His name is a palindrome.
