"Here come the Koopa Bros.!"

The Koopa Bros. are a group of four Ninjakoopas. They appear as bosses in Paper Mario, being the main antagonists of Chapter 1, and overall alongside Bowser???, the second boss fight of the game.
History[]
Paper Mario[]
In Chapter 1, The Koopa Bros. guard the Star Spirit, Eldstar. Mario encounters them at the end of chapter 1 in Paper Mario. After Mario and company defeat all four of them, they fall down their castle into one of the prison cells, seemingly leaving them trapped. Towards the end of the game at Chapter 8, Mario encounters them again, only to see them be defeated by Jr. Troopa in mere seconds.
Some characters in Paper Mario say that the Koopa Bros. originally lived in Koopa Village, around the same time Kent C. Koopa lived there.
The Koopa Bros. are seen in the ending credits. They give the player a thumbs up before some Bob-ombs blow them up.
Attacks[]
The Koopa Bros' main attack is jumping on top of each other and doing a special tornado spin, which has an attack of 4. Like other types of Koopas, they will not attack a full turn if flipped over on their shells. Their attack also decreases by 1 each time one of them is defeated.
Strategy[]
This fight can be tricky if unprepared. However, it is relatively easy if the player knows what they are doing. The first thing that the player should do is to flip the Koopa Bros. over onto their shells. The first hit will cause them to shake, while the second hit will flip them over. At this point, the player can do real damage to one of the Koopa Bros., players should be cautious, as even if one of them is still flipped while the other gets back up, they can still perform a spin attack, so the player should make sure to flip each Koopa Bro on their back. If they flip back over, repeat this until all of the Koopa Bros. are defeated.
Alternatively, since each Ninjakoopa has 5 HP, Players could used a POW Block and Fire Flower in succession the second the Player flip them over. Koopers Power Shell is also very effective
Trivia[]
- The Koopa Bros. appear to be a reference to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, both are turtles and wear ninja masks, even wearing similar colors to the Ninja Turtles, such as the Black, Yellow, and Red Ninjakoopas very slightly resembling Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Red Ninjakoopa spoofs Leonardo, Blackkinja Koopa spoofs Donatello, Yellow Ninjakoopa spoofs Raphael, and Green Ninjakoopa spoofs Michelangelo,
- The Koopa Bros. are the only Chapter Boss in Paper Mario to be a group of bosses, the Goomba King does not count as Red Goomba and Blue Goomba are Mid-Bosses, not Major Bosses.
- In a way, the fighting-style that the Koopa Bros. preform solo are the same as regular Koopa Troopas, they even have the same amount of HP that the regular Koopa Troopas have, tho their wind up time is longer, and their spin attack is faster.
