Kalmar is the 7th Star Spirit, received after defeating the Crystal King in the Crystal Palace. He doesn't have much detail to him, just a mustache and a pair of eyes.

- As his name implies, he is very warm hearted, he hates fights and/or arguments.
- His name is also the same as the Swedish city Kalmar, a fact possibly taken into consideration in the game's development when choosing to place him in a very cold area.
- He, along with the other Star Spirits, makes an appearance in Mario Party 5.
