Hyper Goombas are green Goombas with purple shoes that appeared in Paper Mario and its sequel. They have more health than regular Goombas, but their attack is the same as Spiky Goombas. Unlike regular Goombas, Hyper Goombas can charge up their attack, increasing it to 8, dealing Mario a devastating blow. Although they normally use it once every battle, it can still be a formidable enemy, especially if you're underleveled. Hyper Goombas can be weakend with a Mr. Softener.
