Goompapa is the father of Goombario and Goombaria, and the husband of Goomama. He lives in Goomba Village in Paper Mario, where he is fixing a gate when met. Kammy Koopa ends up crushing the gate, angering him. He sees Goombario off on his adventure with a smile, and is very supportive of his dreams.
He gives Mario the Badge Lucky Day after you deliver a letter to him.
