Gary is a Goomba from Super Paper Mario. During the events of the game, he attempts to escape Castle Bleck with an unnamed Goomba and Luigi. During the Chapter 2 interlude, they end up getting caught by Nastasia, and she hypnotizes him into becoming a servant of Count Bleck. The unnamed Goomba quickly joins "the winning team" without question, and several hypnotized minions, including Gary, hold down Luigi so he can be brainwashed. Gary is not seen again for the rest of the game (although it can be assumed that he returned to serving Bowser after Count Bleck's defeat).
