The Fright Mask is an item from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. It can be bought in most shops for 2-5 coins. If used, it will cause every enemy in a battle to flee, with some exceptions (bosses, mini-bosses). The Fright Mask is very similar to an item from the original Paper Mario called the Fright Jar. While the Fright Mask can be fairly useful, the cost of using it is the loss of star points, as every enemy who flees when it is used will only drop one.
