Tattle 1	He's an old Star Spirit. His name is Eldstar. He reminds me of my grandpa. He's a revered person who lives way up in Star Haven, way up beyond the sky. Uh...a revered star, I mean. I wonder why he's here. He should be in Star Haven. And why does he look so... dim? I can see right through him.

Eldstar is the first Star Spirit in Paper Mario. He was kidnapped by Bowser along with the other Star Spirits. He is rescued from the Koopa Bros. Fortress later by Mario and Friends. Eldstar then teaches Mario how to use special abilities and gives him the refresh ability.

Trivia

• His name is based off the words "Elder" and "Star".
• Like the other Star Spirits (besides Twink), Eldstar makes an appearance in Mario Party 5.
