A Dark Bristle is a spiky enemy that appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. They are the stronger relatives of the original Bristle and are some of the toughest enemies in the game. Dark Bristles are located in the Pit of 100 Trials on Floors 81-89 and are very hard to defeat. Unless the player has a very strong item or a Spike Shield badge, piercing their defense is nearly impossible.
