Culex

Culex is an optional boss in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, if you want to fight him you will need a Shiny Stone find in Moleville, then you need to go to Monstro´s Town and check the sealed door, then the Shiny Stone will react and open the door. He will tell you that he crosses over the dimension of Vanda to Mario´s dimension, and if you want a fight with he, if you say Yes! he will say En garde! and the battle begins. He is the most powerful boss in the game because he is not alone, he counts with 4 elemental crystals and all of them can control different powers. He also counts with some efective attacks, but his HP reduces when using one of this attacks, his attacks deal more damage than other simple attacks.

Elemental Crystals[]

Fire Crystal[]

As it name says, it can control the fire, using various fire attacks like Flame, Flame Wall, Corona or Drain, this Crystal is weak against ice-based attacks. It has a great defense.

Water Crystal[]

As it name says, it can control the water, but it uses mostly ice-based attacks like Blizzard, Solidify, Ice rock or Crystal, it can also use a Water Blast, it is weak against fire attacks and has a low defense. If Mario uses his fire orb will be an effective hit.

Earth Crystal[]

This Crystal has the most HP but counts with a poor defense, it uses both earth attacks and water attacks. It is weak against Thunder attacks, if Mallow uses his Thunderbolt ability will be an effective hit.

Wind Crystal[]

Is more likely to be a Plant Crystal more less, but it only uses one plant-based attack and it´s Petal Blast but it uses various electrical attacks like Bolt, it counts with a low HP but with a huge defense, it´s stongly recommended to defeat first beacause Petal Blast will transform all the party in mushrooms. For one reason, jumping attacks it's his weak point.
