Bub is a small Bob-omb that Mario meets Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door in the Glitz Pit and later on the Excess Express to Poshley Heights. His mother Sylvia calls him Little Bub. His father is Goldbob. He comes from a wealthy family, but unlike his parents, he doesn't have that much money and would rather be an engineer instead of a rich kid. The reward for solving his problem at the Trouble Center is his "life savings" of 3 Coins. While his parents are arguing over what Bub's birthday present he should get, he mentions he has a GBA.
